Re: Installation défaillante sur SSD externe / lancement SC impossible : résolu

Et voici la réponse de RSI à mon ticket. Je vous laisse le soin de traduire.

Installation / RSI Launcher Issues
• When installing, ensure that it is to an NTFS-formatted drive. Star Citizen does not currently support exFAT drives. Many external drives are formatted exFAT, so we recommend avoiding those.
• Ensure that your Windows installation is fully up-to-date.
• Ensure that your device meets the Game and Launcher Requirements. https://support.robertsspaceindustries. ... quirements.
• Ensure that your computer has the Required Windows Files and Configurations. https://support.robertsspaceindustries. ... r-Citizen-
• Ensure that the game and Launcher have the required Permissions. https://support.robertsspaceindustries. ... ermissions

If you are still having issues, try installing to a different location/drive, white-listing the game and Launcher in your antivirus, or clearing the RS Launcher cache and session:
1. Fully close the game
2. Click "Sign Out" in the Launcher
3. Close the Launcher program
4. Press Windows⊞ + R to open the Run window.
5. Enter %appdata%
6. Delete the folders RSI Launcher and rsilauncher
7. Log back into the Launcher normally
Please note that this will reset your Library Folder for game installation.

For some issues, a clean installation may be required:

Game Crashes / Performance
• Ensure that your device meets the Game and Launcher Requirements. https://support.robertsspaceindustries. ... quirements
• Check for Unsupported Applications, Peripherals and Overlays. https://support.robertsspaceindustries. ... d-Overlays
• Try Modifying Your Pagefile if your system is running out of memory.https://support.robertsspaceindustries. ... r-pagefile
• Ensure your graphics drivers are fully up-to-date.

If you are getting poor performance despite meeting the requirements, the game may be using your integrated graphics card instead of your discrete GPU:
NVIDIA
1. Completely close the Launcher.
2. Open Nvidia Control Panel.
3. Click 3D Settings > Manage 3D Settings.
4. Click the Program Settings tab.
5. On the Global Settings tab, locate and select the Preferred graphics processor. From the list, select High performance Nvidia Processor.
6. Click Apply.
7. You can also add and configure Star Citizen in the Program Settings list:
1. Click the Program Settings tab.
2. Click Add and browse to the Star Citizen exe: (install drive)\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\Star Citizen\LIVE\Bin64.
3. For the preferred graphics processor, select High performance Nvidia Processor.
4. Click Apply.
8. Under Settings, click Set Physx configuration.
9. From the drop down menu, select your Nvidia graphics card for the processor.
10. Click Apply.
11. If you overclock your graphics card, you may also need to reset to defaults.
12. Try launching the game again.

AMD
1. Completely close the Launcher.
2. Make sure you have the latest AMD driver installed. https://support.robertsspaceindustries. ... r-pagefile
3. Open AMD Radeon Settings or control center.
4. Select Preferences, then Radeon Additional Settings.
5. Expand Power and click Switchable Graphics Global Settings.
6. Select High performance for the Graphic Setting. Click Apply.
7. Click Switchable Graphics Application Settings.
8. Select the Star Citizen exe from the list. If not listed, click Add Application and locate the Star Citizen exe: (install drive)\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\Star Citizen\LIVE\Bin64.
9. Select High performance for the Graphic Setting. Click Apply.
NOTE: For AMD, you can also track the GPU being used per application through the Switchable Graphics Application Monitor.
10. If you overclock your graphics card, you may also need to reset to defaults.
11. Make sure all settings are saved and close the Control Panel.
12. Try launching the game again.

Connection Error Codes
• 16007 / 15006 - Check your ports, antivirus. If you are using a VPN, try disabling it. Some networks may block Star Citizen. Ensure you are running the current version of the game and Launcher.
• 10002 / 10008 - You may be trying to access the PTU whilst it is disabled. If not, try deleting your Launcher cache and session as explained under section Installation / RSI Launcher Issues.
• 40014 - We are currently investigating this rare issue, and we recommend reporting it to the Issue Council. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm ... contribute
• 40015 / 30009 - Submit a new ticket so that we can put your account in for a reset.
